Recording Audio

Don’t worry…You don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on a microphone for your movie. Try this trick to record audio instead.
Record the audio with a second smartphone! Hide it near the subject (mic-side-up) and turn on the Voice Memo when you are ready to record. You can import the audio into your movie later with an editing app. It will save you a lot of frustration.

What if you want to add a voice over to your movie? No problem. Apps like iMovie allow you to record a voice over during the editing process. We’ll cover that in the next section.

Editing the Movie
Video editing apps allow you to add music, voice overs, sound effects, and more to your movie quickly and easily. For this lesson, we’ll discuss the Apple video editor iMovie. But check the resource list at the end for other useful editing apps.
